LMS Secure Further DfT SAFED Funding

LMS have been provided with a further entranchement of part funding to deliver the Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving programme to transport operators working in and around the Aggregates industry.

Department for Transport are making SAFED driver training available to eligible LGV operators subsidised at last years levels for a short period of time.

Interested operators should contact LMS promptly to secure places.

London Bus Company Makes Major Investment

LMS awarded ‘Approved Supplier’ status from Business Link

LMS have recently been awarded the position of an approved supplier on the West Midlands Suppliers Register for fuel efficiency related products and services. This now means that LMS customers with short-medium term fuel efficiency strategies may be able to access future funding.

Final Call for SAFED funding

The Department for Transport part funded driver development programme, SAFED Aggregates is reaching its deadline of March 31st 2009. LMS are requesting operators move rapidly to confirm their places as not to avoid disappointment. ‘Numerous operators appear to be holding off from taking this invaluable driver development support, simply as the Driver CPC is on our horizon. Some operators appear to be missing the immediate cost saving advantages of participating in the safe and fuel efficient driving programme, said Kevin Taylor, LMS Managing Director.
